Crystal Pools - Windows to the Soul

The lake was silent for some time.
Finally it said:
"I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus
was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my
banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty
reflected."

.... prologue to The Alchemist

Each day I look into the crisp crystal pools of his eyes to see what new reflections I will see of myself , and to indulge in discovering things about him - I am in awe in each of these precious moments and I silently weep with joy at the gift of finally meeting another like myself. And even more so, because for the first time there is another who sees into the depths of me, and values ALL that lies therein, who sees the WHOLE of me.

... Reaching into Unknowns ...

I haven't done this for so long that I've almost forgotten how to enter the text onto this glass page....

Tonight I sent you words that speak of my nature - the me I carry in my heart - guarded behind all the walls of loud confidence and assertive comebacks.

I took a breath and stretched out from deep within to share with you a glimpse of who I am... I did not expect a response, certainly not so soon. But you did, and you received what I expressed, and returned a little more ....

....and now my breath is caught in my throat ....
